They almost got me. But they blew it. The young girl was nice and told me all about this problem with companies getting hold of the magazine list. I was told I would be placed in a new secure database. I was given a code and then offered a $10.00 reduction in my monthly magazine subscription account. THEY REALLY BLEW IT. I have paid all my accounts. The poor young thing could not tell me what magazines I was getting. I was then transferred to the "supervisor" who insisted I was still paying for magazines. When I asked her to please confirm the package I was getting. She stated "the woman's package". That's when she blew it. I have a package with United Readers Service which includes a history mag, baseball mag and a racing mag. When she asked me to confirm my bank information and I said NO, the call was disconnected. When I did *69 I got the number and when I called back - it rings and rings. BEWARE!!!
