2009 11 20 1146: ROBO CALL - they are breaking the FDCPA law ... massage left in parts finally gets around to saying it is from a bill collector /collection agency. THAT IS ILLEGAL TO allow 3rd parties to know that a call is from a collection agency / bill collectore.
PLUS it doesnt prove that NAME answered the phone when an answering machine picks it up !!!- and plays the whole message (in cluding the FDCPA illegal announcement of the call is from National Recovery Agency a debt collector - 3rd parties can hear it).
report them !!!
also be aware of your states statue of limitations for recovery of debt ... if it has been 4, 6, 10, years since last contact- 3rd party cannot do it. judgement may be as long as 20 years. if you make a payment (or agree to) you start the clock rolling again.
