I was contacted by this number: 925-738-0227
They said that there was fraudulent activity on my Washington Mutual Card And that they need information to verify this activity. They asked for my last four digits of my social security number Date of Birth And the number on the card that was being used.
They were also able to tell me that there was money withdrawed from my account from a specific bank and time.
My guess is that they already had my pin number and withdrew the specified amount and wanted to get my personal information to get more cards sent to their address.
This is such a pain in the ass. Do not give out your information to these people. They sounded very professional, and had everything sounding legit. Please please please do yourself a favor and protect yourselves.
